Blog Pluggin
Blog1. Overview
According to Wikipedia "a blog (an abridgment of the term web log) is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. 'Blog' can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog."
Which is a fancy way of saying a blog is where someone keeps a journal or writes a series of articles. Blogs can be used to publish news, diaries, commentary and education. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. Blogs are meant to be published to an online audience. Further blogs give readers the ability to comment on a particular article. The interactive capabilities of blogs is a critical part.
The interactive part can also be a problem. Many popular blogs turn into discussion forums as the comments (posts) grow in length. As the comments stack up the now conversation drifts from the original article, yet new comments about the original article are also added making the entire process disjointed as the comments are almost always presented as one long line of chronologically ordered posts.
